To effectively showcase the product’s features, the client requests a comprehensive visual representation encompassing all details of the handbag: Material Composition: Exterior: Crafted from 100% genuine cowhide. Interior Lining: 100% polyester for durability and comfort. Hardware Details: Constructed from Zinc Alloy for strength and durability. Finish: A sophisticated Light Gold tone adds a touch of elegance. Branding: The handbag features a subtly printed logo. Logo Color: A soft, light hue for a refined appearance. Identifying a factory within our supplier network that meets the client’s technical specifications and initiating communication with them

Jessica from Leeline Sourcing engaged with the chosen supplier (after evaluating three manufacturers, the most appropriate one was selected) to discuss the specifics of the prototype, technical specifications, and anticipated challenges.

Following discussions with the manufacturing partner, Leeline convened an internal session to delve into the specifics of the order and address any challenges

After liaising with the manufacturer and finalizing details with our client, our team regrouped to devise strategies for overcoming the ensuing obstacles:

• Challenge with the Handbag Interlayer:
  • Issue: Ensuring safe storage for a laptop required an inconspicuous compartment on the opposite side of the handbag’s interlayer.
  • Solution: Construct a sewn pocket near area B, allowing the laptop to be placed in area A and a firearm in area C within a magnetically sealed bag, separated by a stitched ribbon for distinct compartments.
• Front Bag Closure Issue:
  • Issue: Placing a laptop in the front pocket leads to interference with the holster, weakening the magnetic closure.
  • Solution: Incorporate three sets of strong, round magnets reinforced with steel sheets, maintaining the same stitching style as the square design for robust closure.
• Handheld Strap Construction Challenge:
  • Issue: The handheld strap requires additional padding or reinforcement to ensure firmness.
  • Solution: Embed a rubber hose within the strap to maintain its shape and aesthetic appeal.
• Internal Bag Button Challenge:
  • Issue: Blurred logo printing leads to overlapping letters.
  • Solution: Expand the button by 3cm and enlarge the logo proportionately, embossing it to enhance visibility.
• Back Holster Construction Difficulty:
  • Issue: Attaching a ribbon to the inner lining might lead to it being pulled out inadvertently.
  • Solution: Secure the ribbon-connected lining to the bag’s bottom or ensure it’s fixed firmly to prevent displacement when accessing the holster.
• Shoulder Strap and Carabiner Challenges:
  • Issue: The shoulder strap needs to be break-proof and sturdy.
  • Solution: Integrate EVA foam and a metal wire within the strap for enhanced durability and a convex interior appearance.
  • Issue: Standard carabiners lack anti-theft features, and the hardware button is too small.
  • Solution: Upgrade to a lockable hardware button to bolster security and elevate the product’s premium feel, with dimensions of 5.8*3.2cm.
• Packaging Concerns:
  • Issue: High-quality handbags risk being damaged or crushed due to heavy packaging or during transit.
  • Solution: Fill each handbag with paper to maintain shape, package individually in non-woven bags, and limit to 10 pieces per box to ensure protection during shipping.

Customer Manager Tiven from Leeline Sourcing meticulously reviewed each aspect of the handbag and initiated the process for creating the initial prototype.

Tiven, along with Purchasing Manager Jessica, engaged with the handbag supplier in a detailed meeting to deliberate over materials and technical specifications, eventually finalizing the approach and laying the groundwork for the first sample edition.

The initial prototype was crafted in 12 days, aligning closely with the original design to about 97% accuracy, much to the client’s satisfaction

The material, color, hardware, and overall design of the handbag met the client’s specifications. After an initial confirmation through video chat, we expedited the samples to the client in America via DHL for a second, more detailed review.
