Quality control, you ensure the quality matches expectations. A quality product helps to increase your SALES. Hiring QC specialists help you to look for problems and advise how to ELIMINATE them.

Quality control focuses on the finished product’s functionality, performance, design, and so on. It entails inspecting the quality of a product before it is packaged.

Quality Assurance

Quality assurance (QA) is a set of operations. It GUARANTEES that a product or service fulfills the needs and quality standards. 

Here is an example of a BAKERY that aims to maintain consistent cake quality. In this situation, quality assurance would entail developing standards and processes. It is made to ensure that each cake satisfies those criteria. Examples are:

There are differences between QA and QC. Quality Assurance is an approach to how a business manages quality. Quality Control, it is a strategy for DETERMINING rate. Besides, the program execution is covered by QC but not in QA.

We are now on the LARGEST and most particular area of the iceberg – Quality Management. All organizational processes are covered by the quality management system. It ensures the quality of ALL aspects that impact customer satisfaction. 

In other words, the quality management system encompasses BOTH QC and QA. The quality management system is an organized set of policies, procedures, and internal processes.

GMP and GLP
